Our Philosophy
Finding the right people means more than reading CVs
There are many points during the lifecycle of a recruitment assignment where things can go very wrong, as many an inexperienced recruiter has found out to their
dismay. The initial advertisement may have been poorly written or placed in the wrong media; the assignment brief may have been incomplete or inaccurate;
candidates may have been interviewed wrongly or managed incorrectly; communication with the client may have been too infrequent or dishonest. Any one of these
factors can lead to failure.
The axiomatic belief that forms the cornerstone of MP Recruitment is that, in recruitment, there can be no substitute for experience and that the
essential principles of effective recruitment must be adhered to during each and every assignment. We will never cut corners. Most seasoned
recruiters have learned that you rarely get a second chance to get things right first time.
Clients deserve honesty and integrity
Most organisations with some experience of consultants are fully aware that using a recruiter to fill a vacant role does not guarantee success; but it does
dramatically minimise the risk of getting it wrong. We believe that if a client places his trust in us by giving us a mandate and agreeing to pay our fees, then
the very least that they deserve is complete honesty and transparency during the recruitment assignment. In practice this means that we will always tell you if
we feel that a particular role cannot be recruited to; we will always tell you if an advertisement has failed to attract suitable candidates; we will always tell
you that the salary needs to be increased if the candidate is to accept your offer and we will always ensure that the client/consultant relationship remains
central to the success of the project.
